Secretary: Lion Bob KirkBob Kirk, Club Secretary, is a long-time Lion with a combined service record extending over 30 years. He was formerly a member of the Bull Run Lions Club as well as the Bull Run/Evergreen Lions Club, then in May 1990 joined Park-West. Lion Bob has served as President of all three of these clubs, and is currently serving his fourth term as Club Secretary for Park-West.
Lion Bob retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1975 after 20 years’ service, then began a civilian career in the government security field. He retired from MITRE Corporation in 2004. Besides Lions activities, he is active in Gainesville United Methodist Church and is a charter member of both the Evergreen Fire Department Auxiliary and American Legion Post 10.
He is married to Lion Barbara, a member of Manassas Lioness Lions, and has two daughters, two stepdaughters and five grandchildren. Treasurer: Stan PearsonLion Stan joined the Park West Lions Club in October, 2000. He has served as 3rd Vice-President, Membership Chairman, Club Secretary for several years and as President for two years. Stan received the Lion of the Year Award in 2005 and a Melvin Jones Fellow in 2009.
First Vice President: Ron LongRon joined Park West in January, 1977. Since that time, he has served as 2nd Vice-President for 2 terms, Secretary for 2 terms, President and has served as a Director 7 times. He has served on many committees and he received the Melvin Jones Fellow in 1995.

Second Vice President: Phil SmithPhil Smith has been a member of Park West Lions since 1985. He was named Rookie of the Year in his first year of lionism and has served on almost every committee within the club, taking a turn as chairman or vice-chairman on many of them. Phil has served as a club officer in the positions of Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President and President. Phil also served as the Zone Chairman. In 1996 Lion Phil was honored to be named a Melvin Jones Fellow by the members of Park West. His awards and honors include Park West Lion of the Year (twice!) and 2005 Lions of Virginia Foundation Distinguished Humanitarian.

2 Year Director: Julie OxleyJulie joined the Signal Hill Lions Club in 2003 where she served as Secretary for 3 years. She transferred to Park West in July 2008, where she has actively supported our activities and fund raisers. She has been a Director on the Board for 3 years.
2 Year Director: Joe McClellanI joined the Park West Lions Club in 1978. I have held the offices of Secretary, Treasurer, First Vice President, Tail Twister and Director. It has truly been a pleasure to serve such an active Club for so many years.
I remember a young lady who attended the State Convention after I first joined the Club walking up to me and thanking me personally for her Leader Dog. This was the kind of impact on the community I had hoped for after joining Park West Lions.

1 Year Director: Dick WoolleySince joining in August, 2007, Dick has been a very active member. He has served on the Youth, Eyeglass Recycling, Adopt-A-Highway and Scrapbook Committees. He also served as Tail Twister and is currently a 2-year Director.
1 Year Director: Marion MayerMarion has been a Lion since May, 2001. Marion has been an active member, serving on several committees. She has been the Lion Tamer and is currently a 2-Year Director.

Building Chairman: Newell EverettI Grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland on a dairy farm. Graduated from Galena High School in 1954 as president of my senior class. During teen years was a member of a 4-H club. Spent 2 years in the US Army, stationed at Fort Belvoir and Fort Meade and was discharged in 1958. Upon discharge I started my career with The Sherwin-Williams Co. in Dover, De. Was there from 1958 until transferred to Manassas, Va. in July 1969. I retired from S-W in January 1996. In 1970 I was invited to join the Signal Hill Lions Club as a charter member. I transferred to Park-West in 1984, and have held just about every office since then. I served as president in 1993-1994. I have received numerous awards including Melvin Jones Fellowship in 1999. I have been Chairman of the Building Committee since 2001 upon completion of our Lions Building. I have perfect attendance since becoming a member in 1970. In my spare time I enjoy golf and showing my antique farm tractor at shows around the east coast.
Immediate Past President: Ron RiceKing Lion Ron Rice has been a Lion since 2006. He has chaired the Youth Committee since June, 2006, he is our Club Liaison to Cub Scout Pack 1182 and served as 2nd Vice-President. He was Lion of the Year in 2008 and received a Melvin Jones Fellow in 2009.
